You may qualify for a weight loss clinical research study currently enrolling in West Palm Beach, Florida.

We are recruiting overweight and obese participants with prediabetes or metformin-treated Type 2 Diabetes for a clinical research study investigating an investigational product in capsule, Gelesis200.

Qualified participants will:

  • be men or women 22 – 65 years of age
  • weigh less than 264 pounds
  • be generally healthy with the exception of being overweight (or obese) and diagnosed with prediabetes or metformin-treated Type 2 Diabetes

Study participants will receive all assessments, dietary counselling, and study products at no charge.  You may also be reimbursed for your time and travel.

You may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study.

If you are at least 18 years of age, you may qualify to participate in the clinical research study of an investigational anti-diabetes medication to evaluate its effect on blood sugar levels compared to other anti-diabetes medication called GLP-1 (for example Victoza®, Byetta®, Bydureon®, Tanzeum®, Eperzan®, or Trulicity®).

There is no cost to participate in this clinical research study. Health insurance is not required. Qualified participants will receive all study related examinations, lab tests and study medications at no cost. You may also be reimbursed for your time and travel.
